This Sonor D472 14" x 2,5" "Pancake" snare, stamped 309, is a drum I sourced and restored for the completion of the Teardrop drumset. Cool thing is the case. Seems that it was used to send filmrolls to the cinemas. A (incomplete) tag inside states, that this was the box of a Grace Kelly Western. I've refitted the case with a new strap and handle. Fits perfectly!

The wrap of the D472 was heavily soiled. After wet sanding (up to 12.000) and polishing the finish was shining like new!
